Meet Our Team

Whether you are working for a season or full-time, Oki Golf has opportunities for advancement at all levels of the organization.

Rick's Story

RickHancock.jpgRick began his career with Oki Golf as an Assistant at Indian Summer in April of 1998. Less than two years later, Rick was promoted to Superintendent at The Plateau Club in December of 1999.  After three successful years at The Plateau Club, Rick was given the opportunity to transfer back to Indian Summer Golf & Country Club so he could spend more time with his family in the south end. Then in August 2010, Rick moved on to The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie where he now oversees two championship golf courses as Superintendent.

Rolly's Story
Rolly.jpgRolly has been an integral part of the Oki Golf team for over 15 years. He started his career in 1996 as a Food and Beverage Manager at The Golf Club at Echo Falls. In May 1999, Rolly took on the challenging task of opening The Golf Club at Newcastle's new restaurants, The Calcutta Grill and The Wooly Toad Cigar Bar, as Restaurant Manager. Next Rolly was promoted to General Manager at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie in March 2001 after Oki Golf's acquisition of the course. He was promoted again only three years later to General Manager at Indian Summer Golf & Country Club in April 2004. In 2006, Rolly was promoted to General Manager at Washington National Golf Club, and has held this title since then.

Kevin's Story
KevinMyers.jpgKevin started his career at The Woodlands golf course at Hawks Prairie (formerly Meriwood) in 1997 as the Assistant Golf Professional. Just one year later, Kevin's hard work paid off, as he was promoted to Head Golf Professional. He then became Head Golf Professional of both The Woodlands and The Links course in 2001. Finally, Kevin was promoted to General Manager at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie, where he has played a significant role in shaping Hawks Prairie into one of the most popular south end golf properties.
